Special Olympics
Celia Hays Huskies didn’t have to travel to Milan, Italy to enjoy the Olympics. Instead, they stayed local and traveled to Heath 9 for the Northside Special Olympics. It was a day full of experiences and many medals earned. Congratulations, Huskies!!
Rotary Student of Honor
Celia Hays is so proud to celebrate 5th grader Owen Liebrum for being named Rockwall Rotary Club’s Student of Honor! This recognition reflects his hard work, leadership, and positive impact both in and out of the classroom.

Paraprofessional of the Year!
Huge congratulations to Mrs. Meacham, our Paraprofessional of the Year! From being one of the first faces at school each morning to supporting students and staff behind the scenes and in the lunchroom, her dedication and reliability help keep our school running smoothly. We’re proud to have her as part of our school community!
Spelling Bee Champs Attend County Contest
Fourth grader, Hayes Holcombe, won his campus elementary school Spelling Bee contest and went on to represent the Celia Hays Huskies at the county-level Jan 13, 2026. This is Holcombe’s first year participating in the Spelling Bee. He made his family and fellow Huskies proud by advancing to round four at the Rockwall County Bee!

Students in Makayla Townsend’s second grade class are learning to draft more than just writing assignments this school year. They are drafting their own NFL teams! In the process, Mrs. Townsend hopes to “bring the students together and form real bonds and meaningful relationships”.
